Terms & Conditions

By purchasing this product, you agree to all terms and conditions as stated herewith.

 

ALL BATHS ARE INSPECTED BY OUR WAREHOUSE MANAGER BEFORE PACKING FOR TRANSPORT TO YOU

 

Collection

Once we book your collection, we have no control over how long it takes to be collected from our factory.  Although most collections take place 1-2 days after booking, collection timeframes are subject to delays.

Once your collection has been booked, you can request a booking reference number for tracking purposes.

 

Transit

Clawfootbaths.com.au have no control over 3rd party freight company transit/delivery times.  We recommend you Do Not arrange any 3rd party trades ie plumbing/installation until your bath has arrived to you.

Once your item has been collected from us, you can request a booking reference number for tracking your delivery or communicating directly with the transport company.

 

Arrival/Unloading

Interstate couriers will only deliver to your driveway and will not enter your property.  

If you do not have a forklift to unload your bath from the truck a tailgate fee will be charged.  This amount is usually included in your order, but may be charged later if this fee was not passed on at order stage.

Please ensure you have 2 or more people to help unload and move the bath once it has been unloaded from the tailgate.

Failed Delivery Attempts

If you are not able to accept the delivery and your bath returns to the depot, you may be charged for depot storage fees or a 2nd call out fee (if they arrived the first time and could not deliver to you).  Note, the transport company will always ring you once it's at your nearest depot, to arrange in advance, a date and time window for your delivery, so there shouldn't be any reason for additional call out fees.  But if a failed delivery does occur due to your unplanned unavailability, you may have a call out fee passed on to you.

 

Accepting delivery of your bath

We recommend you inspect the item at the time of delivery.  Your bath was inspected prior to leaving our factory and it was signed off as being in perfect condition at that time.  We accept no responsibility for the condition it arrives to you in.  If the crate appears to be damaged, we recommend taking photos and initiating a claim with the driver/transport company.  If the package appears damaged, do not accept delivery.  The freight company may not accept any claims after you accept delivery.

 

Moving/Storage

This bath has cast iron feet and weighs approximately 130kg.  Do not drag the bath. If the bath is dragged or if the feet are knocked with force, this may damage the bath’s exterior enamel. 

Please store your bath safely.  Please consider the conditions of your property (ie current building/renovation site) and ensure your bath is protected from damage.

Only store your bath in normal temperature conditions.  For example, do not leave your bath wrapped in plastic then store in a container that can get to high temperatures. This may damage the outside enamel or accelerate the occurrence of rust.

 

Warranty

Your bath will be delivered with a copy of your warranty.  Should you need to make a warranty claim, the bath will need to be returned for inspection.  We reserve the right to repair, as per the warranty provided.

RETURN POLICY

This product was carefully inspected for faults and damage before leaving our warehouse.  Please examine carefully before installation.  Claims will not be recognized unless made within 14 days from date of delivery.
